GMHG Thursday night and Saturday parade with Novel Adventures®
We have a very special group in attendance this weekend. Novel Adventures® returns as the official representative for “Clan Outlander'' as recognized by the GMHG since 2015!
Novel Adventures® is the Premiere travel and event company that hosts the original 'Outlander' fan gathering in North Carolina.
This summer, they have organized their 8th “Gathering on Fraser’s Ridge” based upon Diana Gabaldon’s book series, “Outlander”, as well as the Starz TV series of the same name.
This Adventure is the first of its kind, and takes place over a period of 5 days at the historic Mast Farm Inn, located in the very heart of “Fraser Country”, making it the ideal event for fans wishing for an authentic weekend of immersion into the world created by Diana Gabaldon, in the location, she places her fictional "Fraser's Ridge".
Every year, for the past 7 years, Novel Adventures® hosts a cast member from the Starz TV series during their weeklong Adventure, and this year, they have brought John Bell, who plays “Young Ian” all the way to North Carolina from Scotland! John will join in all of the group’s activities throughout the weekend, which includes an appearance here, at the GMHG! Plus, this year they have a bonus guest, ‘Andy the Highlander’, internationally known and recognized for providing the most entertaining ‘Outlander’ themed tours in all of Scotland.
One of the highlights of the “Gathering on Fraser’s Ridge by Novel Adventures®” is the group’s attendance at the GMHG torchlight ceremony and the Saturday parade celebrating “Clan Outlander”. So, without further ado, we’d like to welcome Novel Adventures® and “Clan Outlander”…
